Quiet ensemble is born in 2009 from the meeting between Fabio Di Salvo and Bernardo Vercelli, it goes through the observation of the ballance between chaos and control, nature and technology

Art installation by Quiet ensemble.

The passage of 25 snails makes in real time an endless light painting, made exclusively by the walking of the small animals.

At the end of each day we'll have a totally different light-painting.

I made the sound design and the motion tracking with Franz Rosati, on Cycling '74 Max.

I remade the tracking, for a new version of the project, in c++ on Openframeworks.
